Rob Arel

Founder

Rob founded Black Door Creative in 2005 with the vision to provide local businesses with the highest quality marketing services in Rhode Island. Over the course of his career, Rob has worked with many leading local brands to develop a well-rounded marketing strategy and online presence.

In his spare time, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three children as well as trying to create perfect bread recipe.

Thalia Lopez

Lead Social Media Strategist

Thalia is the Lead Social Media Strategist at Black Door Creative and develops, creates, and executes all of BDC’s social media strategies. She considers her work “digital storytelling” and is dedicated to building engaging social media content that authentically represents the soul of a brand. When she’s not staring at her phone, you can find her sipping on her fourth tea of the day or obsessing (shamelessly) over her two adorable French Bulldogs. 

Heather Clarke

Social Media Intern

Heather is Black Door Creatives first social media intern! She works alongside Thalia assisting with the creation and execution of content for their clients. She’s excited to be utilizing the skills learned at BDC in her own social media business endeavors. Her love for social media stems from the continual need to learn and the passion for helping small businesses thrive. On the weekends, you’ll likely find her in downtown Providence sipping on cocktails with friends.
